Located in North Central West Virginia on the Allegheny plateau the Hide-A-Way Golf Course was first opened in 1955. Golfing at the Hide-A-Way soon became a local tradition, challenging beginning and advanced golfers with its spacious 35 par, nine hole layout. This public nine hole course will not cramp the style of the most discriminating golfer; the course boasts a total length of 3,064 yards situated on approximately 90 acres.
After a twenty year absence from golf the Hide-A-Way will once again carry on the with a challenging day of golf.
Golfing at the Hide-A-Way is, for our old friends, a homecoming to a course that is dear to their hearts. For those visiting us for the first time the combination of charm, tranquility and challenge will make for a pleasant day in the country.

The course, nestled in the hills of southern Harrison County, is framed by the West Fork River. The Fairways are cut with extra width, keeping the public golfer in mind. The bent grass greens have been completely renovated to provide a competitive playing surface. The tees have also been rebuilt to exacting standards. A completely new irrigation system is in place to provide water to greens and tees. A day at the Hide-A-Way will provide much more than a game of golf. While not a country club we are indeed in the country, with all of the peace and quiet that goes with it.
In our eighth season we have added course upgrades that add significantly to your pleasure, you are sure to notice!
